Have you ever found your self at a cross roads wondering, how on earth could you decide which route to take? Or making a life changing decision wondering if you made the right one? Have you ever positioned at the right place at the right time? What do you do? Do you freak out and hide or do you step up and shine? I have spent many years preparing for my calling and when I finally got to the moment I had been preparing for I almost wanted to hesitate. What was interesting was how after so much preparation there was no time for hesitation, there was only time to move. How do you let your instinct take over your fear? You Just Let Go and move! After the moment you are filled with so much fullfiment and alignment! So don’t ever think your not moving just because your in a season of preparation, you never know how fast the time can come when it’s time to move! Stay encouraged and focused on the mission, mainly preparing for It!
Have you ever felt like you were the only one in your family or circle of friends that was different? Like somehow everyone was headed in one direction and you seem to be heading in a completely different direction? How do separate yourself to go on your own path? For me it was always staying focused on my maker, it wasn’t always easy and there were many time I conformed to my surroundings, but my source always redirected me to where I needed to be. This thing we call life is a journey and only living one moment, one day at a time, can we stay on our path not the choices our family or friends make. When you get lost or need some clarity “just breath” and know that your path has already been laid out and all you have to do is decide where to take your next step! Who will you put your trust in?
Have you ever hit the snooze button instead of waking up? Why is it we would rather sleep in than be obedient to the day? When the alarm rings it’s time to start a new day! A new day of possibilities, new adventures or encounters, why would we want to prolong the day! These are questions I have recently began to ask myself. Do we like dream land better or are we just being lazy and wanting to sleep more? This is a tough one for me, on one hand a new day is exciting but on the other dream land is just as interesting and some days it’s just easier to stay asleep than face the day. How can we stay motivated to not rebel against the alarm? I think for me it’s the adventure of where the day will take me, the moments I’ll get to share with a special someone, it’s a surprise you just don’t know where you will find the romantic moments in the day. A Romantic moment is a moment in your day that simply takes your breath away, we should be hunting for these moments and appreciating them with everything we are! How do you know you just had a romantic moment, well that’s between you and your maker and what’s important to you and how it makes you feel!
Life is full of ups and downs and no matter how down it can get or how high, if you stay focused on your mission everything will always work itself out. How do you stay focused when everything seems to be going in the opposite direction? You stay on course and focused on the journey, where you end up is what’s in important not how you got there. Enjoy the journey! God will spit the seas for you when you trust Him to close it behind you on those things trying to keep you from your destiny. So next time you find yourself in a valley while on the quest to get to your destiny, remember the sea will split for you and on the other side you will be standing on a mountain with our Creator. That is when you are truly living in your destiny, walking beside our Creator!
How many times in your life have you been left feeling disappointed in a person or situation? It seems we place a high expectation on the things that affect our lives. So how do we live a life without expectation? Is it even possible to not have expectations? I know one thing for sure I would rather not get to the end of my life and wonder what would have happened had I spoke up or taken a different turn. Disappointment is a risk we all take when we put ourselves out there, weather telling that special someone how we feel or going after that job that is out of reach. I feel if you don’t risk it all the opportunity may pass you by and you can be left in a place of wondering, what if? So next time the job becomes open or the person you are crushing on becomes available take the risk put yourself out there, you may be left hanging alone but who knows you may have opened a whole new door you never thought would open for you. Don’t be scared of disappointment, it’s a part of life and will happen regardless, it’s better than wondering what could have been.
Have you ever felt rejected? How do you respond? For me I have always allowed the feeling of rejection to take control of my emotions. Sometimes we respond to others in a hurt manner or reflect the feeling on to the next person. How do you go about not letting the emotions control your actions? My new philosophy is if someone or something rejects me there will always be 10 more who accept me! So continue living for your purpose because rejection is a part of life and no matter how old you are it will always have an affect on us. How we respond to it is what defines us!
